These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Carmel Fence Installation quotes and performs fencing work in Carmel and the surrounding Hamilton County communities. The specific terms of any job are set out in the written estimate you sign, and that document governs wherever it differs from this page.
Use of this website
You may use this site to learn about our services and to find our contact details. You may not use it to attempt to disrupt the site, to scrape it at scale, or to misrepresent our business. Estimates and pricing
On-site measures are free and carry no obligation. Written estimates are itemised and valid for the period stated on the document. A price can change only if the scope changes, if the property reveals a condition that could not be seen at the measure, or if you ask for something different, and in every case we issue a revised written number before proceeding.
Scheduling and access
Install dates depend on material lead times, permit and covenant approvals, utility locate completion, and weather. We give you dates in writing and update you if any of them move. You are responsible for providing reasonable access to the work area and for making us aware of private underground lines that a public utility locate will not mark.
Permits, covenants, and property lines
Where the job includes permit or architectural submittal, we prepare and file it. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the property boundary information you provide, and for any agreement with a neighbour about a shared or boundary fence. If a survey is needed to establish a line, that is a separate cost and we will say so.
Payment
Deposit and payment terms appear on the written estimate. Work is complete when the run has been walked with you, the gates have been checked, and the site has been cleaned. Any post-cure gate adjustment included in the job is performed at no additional charge.
Workmanship warranty
Our written workmanship warranty covers the installation itself, the setting of posts, the framing, the hardware, and the line. Manufacturer material warranties are passed through to you and are administered by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage from impact, vehicles, storms beyond normal weather, ground disturbance by others, or alterations made by anyone other than us.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Indiana law, our liability in connection with a job is limited to the value of the work performed under the relevant estimate. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page as our practices or the law change. The version published at the time you engage us applies to that engagement.
